Loved seeing the double team

Whenever Purdue threw it to Trevion inside there was usually a double team like other teams do to Garza. I was really worried about him and Iowa contained him with aggressive and smart team defense.

I feel most comfortable with our defense when we have these players in: Garza, Murray, Weezy, CJ, and Toussaint. That seems to be the winning formula for making their defense less-effective and ours more effective.

Williams is a great passer out of double teams, he's a nice player

I think you could slide Nunge into the 4 spot instead of Murray against certain lineups from other teams, but I agree that's the best d Iowa can put on the floor.

Keegan has the best defensive attitude imo. He makes all the hustle plays and never gives up on a play. That is why he is playing this early in his career.

He has an amazing knack to be around the ball and in the right position. Can't imagine where he got that from. I don't think you teach that, some players just come by it with hustle and intuition.

Seems like when we recruited the twins Kris was considered the better defender? Am I remembering that right?

The Murrays were a bargain. So underrated by the experts. So far it's been Keegan, but eventually I would bet both he and Kris will be getting a lot of minutes on some successful teams.
