One of the more hilarious parts of yesterday's broadcast, on FS1, during the
Iowa at Illini beat-down, had to be, when the announcers were lauding Lovie Smith and his
Coaching experience in the NFL, bringing that to Champaign.
Then, they put up his record while at Illinois.
Did anyone else see this? 17-37; Well, make that 17-38;
Could anyone imagine what this Board would be like if Iowa had a coach, who'd just been given a
raise, renegotiated contract for 5 years and his record was 17-38??
Are you kidding me? Champaign, IL is a strange place, indeed.
