Really, because I think it's brilliant. If LSU was a true 3 seed, then this was the best possible outcome. There was no guarantee that they would meet in the final 4 or the Championship game. This way the NCAA gave themself the best chance of getting a rematch between last year's Championship game participants and matching Clark against Reese in a late round game.

Dee Kantner was one of the officials. To me she is the best official in the womens game since Lisa Mattingly hung it up. And the other two offficials were men. To me it was great officiating.
