Paige had 24 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks. You question whether she would start for Iowa? It’s crazy that a coach standing up for his player would make people so irrationally angry and so far from coherent.
Not with enthusiasm. Especially the casual fans. Players running up and down the court doesn't cut it. They want to see something special - personality. Panache. 35' bombs. Laser no look passes.

Well they werent a great shooting team last year and then that bench player lit it up against the hawks in the final game from Trey Land, a player with out a big scoring avg or shooting history. It can happen for any team, Kate and Gabby could light it up Monday and I hope they do. If they can make 10 treys that is huge.

The NCAA uses these tournaments as “money makers”….and the schools involved “shake their money makers” accordingly.

Imo, USC got a HUGE gift when they put #2 Ohio State, #3 UConn & #4 Virginia Tech in their regional.

I have been saying since the selections were made that Iowa got the hardest regional of the 4 when they were supposed to get the 2nd easiest.
There’s a conspiracy against Iowa. It used to be just men’s basketball, but it has also spread to Football and Women’s Basketball. It’s the officiating, always.

Yes very much so . Refs took us out of the game from the start and only callled it better when outcome was no longer in doubt. Worst one sided game I have ever seen in basketball outside of mens Illinois vs UNC title game

I'm sure the NCAA is really upset about what was probably the most viewed Elite 8 game in Women's BB history, especially with Clark going on to the Final 4 to play either the country's best freshman or the team with the best coach and biggest dynasty in Women's BB history, and then possibly going on to play S. Carolina, whom Iowa gave their only loss the past 3 seasons...
