My wife hates the cheers theme song. I make sure to throw it in the playlist every once in awhile to keep her guessing. Used to have Sean and Eben sing it at dueling pianos at Piano Lounge in college every time we were in.

No, that's correct. The movie was first and they sang the lyrics for the film, which was quite a bit darker than the TV show.
