I believe it has been an issue at the local level (City buildings). This would also prevent political or religious flags from causing a pissing match.

I realize it doesn’t apply to city buildings. I’m just saying i could see politicians attempt to add flags at federal buildings in the name of “owning libs”. Just nip it in the bud.

You're worried about something Republicans haven't done, but may do, that of which the Democrats already did do.

How about just condemning the Democrats for what they did do, and supporting the change that will forbid such action in the future?
