I think this is perfect. In my dream world they keep up this speaker voting all spring. The government is funded for quite some time…this is much more entertaining and preferable to whatever wild-hair Hunter Biden/Barack Obama/Hillary/JFK investigation they would already be cooking up.
This is the one time Gaetz gets to pretend to be relevant and like he's partaking in the public spectacle. He's never had an original thought in his entire body. The only bill he ever authored was a simple one liner to simply eradicate a federal agency and every Republican just laughed at it. That my district keeps voting for him is one of the reasons I want to move away from here. It's insane.

It will be interesting to see if those "moderate" GOP members turn their backs on the Dem caucus moving forward. I know where I would put my money.
They never intended to accomplish anything anyway. That's why it's so easy for them to stop everything and hold up the show. This IS the show. MAGA doesn't want a government. They want the government and our democracy to fail. That's what it is all about. They want to set up an actual dictatorship of Christo-Fascist oligarchs, and making our government unworkable is the second step along the way (Jan 6 was first step).

I loved the people who were walking behind her. A few of them were oblivious to what was going on, realized a train wreck was in progress, stopped, tried to turn around, and then just looked at the wall and powered through.

Honestly, I don't see why it's so bad for Boebert and others to vote the way they want. That's the whole idea of a vote, why are people wanting them to vote give up their vote. There's 435 people in congress, there has to be someone that can get 218 votes. Figure it out and come to an agreement.

He's an idiot and if he really cared about the country he'd spend more time trying to find someone who could get 218 votes rather than trying to get 218 votes for himself.
