We shouldn’t be removing candidates from the ballot like the Soviet Union.

It's cute you think that. The participants had a clear objective to disrupt and usurp democracy for their dear leader, who encouraged and instructed their treason. Part of that full accounting is holding Trump responsible for his actions. Hopefully criminally with jail time, but at minimum should be inelligible for elected office.

Disagree, first time that I can remember that an election result had to be enforced by the point of a gun. In order for Congress to certify the results the VP had to be secured by a SWAT team. Seems as something was in peril.
