You know what sucks? Stage 4 brain cancer. The gloom associated with Gavin Teasdale's decision to attend PSU is a bit much. Read some of the titles of the recent posts on this forum. Everything from "Fire M*" to "This sucks". You would think each of us just had his beloved dog run over by a car. Teasdale wants to wrestle at PSU? Good luck to him. He's not unbeatable. Most people don't associate "this sucks" with a life shortening illness. I don't see any "this is going to make me go bald and lose 35 years of my life."

It DOES suck! This is a message board for crying out loud, it's the best place to say "this sucks" when something "sucky" happens regarding Iowa wrestling.

Let people vent. If someone doesn't like it I'd suggest taking a break from the board and coming back a little later after things hopefully get less "sucky".

Why on Gods green earth do you think your qualified to tell people how to react? I mean we gain a little ground recruiting and one of our top recruits is poached from us. Die hard fans will react and not all the same. There was talk on the other board about getting rid of Cael before the good run at the NCAAs. Not all reactions make sense and not all the criticism of those reactions makes sense.

ISU with KJ at the helm and PD3 running the program into the ground comes pretty darn close if you're a diehard fan. I only kid a little. One point at nationals would be brutal to internalize.

So should they just shutdown HR then if people can't talk about sports on a sports message board? Maybe this is a way someone with stage 4 brain cancer can get away for a few minutes.

I think some of the reactions to losing Teasdale were, in my view, a tad hysterical. My opinion. I think your initial sentence is not well-founded. I'm expressing a view, and you're expressing yours. All people do on this board is express opinions in "reaction" to one another. I am looking forward to Brands finding a kid to beat Teasdale. He doesn't want to be a Hawkeye? F&ck him. Find the next guy.

Pretty sure I didn't suggest that we shut down HR. Try to follow the argument.

Dont remember the story to a "T" or who it was for that matter but Gable did say that to some recruit that was on the fence about coming to Iowa. "If you don't come to Iowa I will find someone and train them to beat you" They came to Iowa, thinking maybe it was Penrith but I could be wrong.
