that helpsSyracuse just won again to make it 5 in a row.
It's mind-boggling to think that if the Mildcats win, that will send Theeee Ohio State University to the very bottom of the BIG!
I'll be honest, I've overly watched how NET rankings impact our profile, but after the Rutgers win, I've moved my focus to how we can earn a double bye.
Edit: That is to say, beat the Badgers, quads be damned.
How did Rutgers only lose about 2 spots after losing to Iowa? And they are still higher. That Nebraska loss is absolutely pitiful. Iowa would prob be around #12 if that hadn't happened.
the movement between quads is crazyI know that you indicated that your ranking weren't current, but Wisky fell to #31 and Michigan to #35, so those are both currently Quad 2 wins, while Syracuse has shot up to #64, so they're now a solid Quad 1 win.
Hopefully Wisky and Michigan can work their way back up a few spots to >30, Cincinnati can climb up to >50 (currently 57), and Nebraska and Northwestern can both get up to >135.
Hawks are having a solid season. I hope they can finish it strong for a change.
6 today, 3 tomorrow, 8 next week! Also, I believe we are back up to 6 quad 1 wins at quick glance. Probably inaccurate, but too busy to dig. Darn close to 8 with Michigan and Wisconsin.
This quadrant crap kind of seems like a joke to me.SORTING OF #21 (NET Rank) IOWA'S RESULTS (15-5) INTO THE 4 QUADS:

its your whole body of work. compare OSU's overall resume to Illinois. What matters is who you beat and where you beat them. OSU had a lot of early impressive wins. This quadrant crap kind of seems like a joke to me.
Who really thinks that beating OSU today would be a better win than beating IL?
The fall off in the ACC is bizarre. For a conference with two of the bluest blue bloods plus multiple other schools with long established bball credentials it's strange to see them looking so "meh" as a conference.
should be based more on recent performance imo....its your whole body of work. compare OSU's overall resume to Illinois. What matters is who you beat and where you beat them. OSU had a lot of early impressive wins.
Maybe NET needs another tweek? But I think it's more fair than RPI.should be based more on recent performance imo....
the good news is that osu either finishes strong, or it won't really matter .Maybe NET needs another tweek? But I think it's more fair than RPI.
i forget but I assume the Committee looks at how a team finished the season so OSU better get their act together. they had a great start, bad middle, and how will they finish?
can't wait to see Toussaint vs Cartonthe good news is that osu either finishes strong, or it won't really matter .
Both they and Cincy have done well enough to get back into that range. If Texas Tech can string together a good stretch they may be able to climb to #25 and be a Q1A neutral win for us as well.Iowa State needs to stop sucking ass so they stay a Q1.
YesIs NET really counting the PSU loss as a neutral court game?
