Marjorie Taylor Greene calls for bloodshed

I don't get your point. This violent nutjob is a member of Congress. People probably are freaking out less than they should.

I agree. She is clearly not stable enough to be a sitting Congress rep but I just don’t find it too shocking she would entice violent rhetoric

She should be removed from congress immediately. We always talk about people "inciting" shit AFTER the bad shit happens. Maybe we should be a little more pro-active.
of course she should be removed but she won't. She is empowered and emboldened by the spineless GOP leadership. The same GOP leadership that refuses to denounce a narcissistic sociopath and fraud that incited the mob on Jan 6th and continues to push the big lie to this day. Its beyond pathetic but that is what the GOP has morphed into.

But Cheney is being removed!

Technically she’s not calling for bloodshed here. She’s calling for us to defend our freedom now because if we don’t defend our freedom and we lose it, bloodshed is the only way to get it back.

It’s still pointless inflammatory rhetoric and she’s still an idiot who has no business serving in Congress. I just wanted to note that subtle but important distinction.

Why
McCarthy does nothing about Gosar either. The GOP embraces this by condoning it. The GOP is not salvageable.
At this point why would the GOP care about condoning it or not? There have been ZERO consequences for it. Trump made this type of behavior normal, even acceptable in modern politics. Dems are too weak or ineffective to stop it. Now, if the Dem's said something half as bad, the GOP would make a lot of noise about it and chances could be made, Al Franken about this.

Proving my points that the GOP is NOT REDEEMABLE and must be destroyed.

Bumper-sticker Patriot

That probably describes the majority of the Trumpier version of the Republican Party today. Questionable actual intelligence but like to think they're smart because they post "witty" memes and Facebook quotes on patriotism, war, freedom, etc. Just don't ask them to say anything more than a couple sentences or paragraphs, where the brain meter starts to bottom out.

This is the Republican party

Team Blue should be asking themselves why their outrage is limited to keyboards when Team Red takes their disgust to the Capitol steps.

I understand Team Blue wants to take the civility high-road and wins that case hands-down. But, Twitter outrage is not producing any results either. The question becomes, how far is Team Blue willing to go to fight for what they think is right?

Team Red needs to be held to the rule of law and prosecuted. Until there is accountability there isn't much that can be done besides going 1850s on people.

She is a useful idiot thrown out there by the old men of the repub party to take the pressure away from them. It is a win win for the old guard. They get their message out with out taking responsibility for it.
She is also another one of the recent GOP shock troops who get the headlines and profits from it by a slew of crazy campaign donors. She's in it for the money, for sure.

And do you think the morons lining up at school board meetings to shout at old women see it this way? Or the dumbest, most egregious way possible?

And they are being held to the rule of law, admittingly at a snails pace.

However, even our Founding Fathers believed in a right to revolution. How long should America go without one? Every other nation in history has either revolted, dissolved, or was conquered. Why should we be so obtuse to think this will not happen to us as well? It is not a question of if, but when and who is willing to make the first move? The answer to the latter is clear and does not bode well for the other side that wants to fight with keyboards versus rifles.

Revolute against what? Grievances yes but nothing to go shooting your neighbor about.
