Technically she’s not calling for bloodshed here. She’s calling for us to defend our freedom now because if we don’t defend our freedom and we lose it, bloodshed is the only way to get it back.

It’s still pointless inflammatory rhetoric and she’s still an idiot who has no business serving in Congress. I just wanted to note that subtle but important distinction.

I understood what she was saying. Unfortunately there are tons of morons on both sides that won't. This country just isn't too bright anymore

Majorie Taylor Greene is not what the founders thought of when they concieved the idea of Congress.

Yep the founders thought that for the most part that Congressmen would seek to better the country. And that the handful of bad apples only seeking to better themselves at the country’s expense would be ratted out and removed by the other Congressmen and/or judiciary just like doctors and lawyers rat out the bad apples in our professions. What they didn’t count on was one party deliberately choosing party over country. Because they didn’t even envision parties to begin with.

There should be some new mechanisms to limit party power and enhance individual Congressmen and women’s powers.

She might very well have called for bloodshed in other instances. If she has then post a link and we can condemn her statement together.

My point is that she didn’t call for bloodshed in this particular instance.
