Mark Hall will commit to...

Got some old playboys I could throw in as well. The pages aren't even...

Anyways, such is the sacrifice I'm willing to make to get young Hall here.

Hall is going to PSU! I would like to see him attend another university but I can see the attraction to PSU.

PapaBearSLIM, How close is Isaiah White to making a decision?

Got a visit scheduled in 2 weeks so probably at least a couple weeks out but I don't think he's in any rush.

the fact that Nebraska, Minny, and Ohio st have all got commitments from guys projected at 165/174 in the last weeks hints that they won't be getting Hall and he will be going to PSU. Which means they are going to be real hard to beat the next 5 years.

I don't think those commitments signal anything with Hall. The kids decide whent to commit not the schools. The schools those kids committed to didn't just start recruiting them after concluding they can't get Hall.

They could have increased their offers to other kids in that weight range after they concluded they were unlikely to get Hall, no?

I'm not saying that's what happened, but it seems plausible.

That's very plausible. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions because of the verbals though.

I agree with Onceafish. Coaches who are waiting on their #1 potential recruit will bring in other potential recruits to build a relationship but stop short of presenting a scholarship. Once their #1 choice doesn't materialized, they'll present an offer because they've already bonded with their 2nd, 3rd and etc choice.

The buzz around nationals last year was Hall to Minn was a done deal. We shall soon find out how reliable the arena seats are.

I was thinking I saw some graphic by Hall, Flo, or someone that put up a picture about Mark committing and it didn't have Nebraska on it anymore when it listed out the schools he was choosing between.

He's going to start up Drury University, DII.

Agreed. The signings could be meaningful. And they very well could not. Which means they're not very useful in figuring out where Hall is going to end up.

Flo's been counting down the 5 days leading up to his announcement with those graphics. Every day featured a different 1 of the 5 he took official visits to with logos of the other 4 displayed less prominently. Nebraska was not any of those 5.

In the waning moments of the Mark Hall recruitment saga, Iowa has retracted their offer of Two full ride scholarships and re-extended a new offer of Three full ride scholarships, locking down Mark Hall as a future Hawkeye.

Heard he is taking a grey shirt next year so we could have this saga all over again next year.

Only if he doesn't sign his NLI...I was kind of in the same camp, but when he moved the announcement to signing day, I'm assuming he is going to sign now. But who knows.

...But he's not that good anyway right? ;)

Damn. Let's go all Gable and find someone to beat him!

Well the closest guy to beat him or the last guy to beat him is Valencia right? We didn't get him either...

If they get Lee as well, they might as well not even bother with the season the next 4 years.
