Went to Buffalo Wild Wings in Cedar Rapids this afternoon for lunch with one my co-workers and Marvin McNutt and his Wife came in and sat down at the bar, pretty cool seeing him, didn't know if he was a free agent or what. Great guy tho, got to shake his hand. No wonder why he caught so many one-handed catches MONSTER hands. Haha

Maybe you can go to McGrath and buy a car from him

I wish he would be invited to become a wide receiver coach. I think he could teach our guys a lot.

Agreed. Since he was not a receiver until his third year of college, he had to learn the position in a very short window, so he should know the difficulties of the learning curve which could help make him a better teacher. The best players are often not the best teachers because the game came so easily to them. However, someone like McNutt (who did not possess a lifelong instinctual familiarity with the WR position) provides a unique perspective that is useful for teaching.

Also, since he has connections at McGrath, maybe we could get some sweet impermissible benefits going and get our guys cruising around in something a little nicer than a moped. Gotta keep up with the Joneses!

Our guys will NEVER drive cars as nice as the SEC players. Just ain't gonna happen. :(

I don't recall McNutt spending two years at the QB position while at Iowa.
