Mass shootings-- why in our country

In the total death count per year, are mass shootings a serious problem in the United States?

I think they are way over-hyped by the media, but I don't know the numbers, so I'm just assuming.

Cigarettes, drugs and suicides are a much bigger death count.

Anyone have the data?

Mass shootings usually come in at less than 250 people a year.

If you use the FBI's qualifications on what constitutes a mass shooting. Watch dog groups want you to believe we have a mass shooting or more every single day, which falsely inflates the numbers.
