McKay Dresses, does not play in ISU's win over TCU

And in summary I need to constantly come over to an IOWA board and respond to every thing negative ISU and reply to every comment....If you don't like hearing all the negative ISU stuff here's a solution. Don't read post on an Iowa board.

Not sure why this bothers anyone that I post here, and am a ISU fan. The negative posting do not bother me at all, its the just the make s**t up posts to go after Iowa State that are garbage. Having lived in Iowa for 54 years, pretty sure I have the lay of the land by now. Both schools have excellent basketball teams this year, why rip on your sister state school, just enjoy the season.

McKay has a fine hairstyle. This should not be used against him. I do think it is right that he was allowed to wear the dress even if he didn't get to dance.

We don't even know what is goign on there since no one answers questions. Nothing to do with color you dipsh$t! Troubled kid at prior school, you have had quite of few of those given a chance by Saint Fred LOL. Yes, just a COMPLETE coincidence you just happened to play TX Tech, and this was the Tech that hadn't started getting hot yet, TCU and Ok St, wow what a great job showing that guy whose boss. If you had more depth he would be booted off of team. It is half ass attempt at showing him whose boss but knowing he is still needed for any prayer to do anything in March. Way to go!

Was McKay a trouble maker at Marquette, I have no clue. I do know they got a new coach, and he decided to leave. How many kids have left the Iowa fb program the past five years, were they all troubled kids? How about all the players that left Iowa under your previous coach, trouble kids, or just kids that wanted more playing time and chance to win? Hell, your best player this year is a transfer from Wisconsin, but I am just sure he wanted to make up for his mistake of not choosing the Hawks the first time. Fred realized that getting kids to ISU was difficult, and found a way to bring in highly skilled players that might have had trouble at their previous school. Of all the players brought in only one was dismissed from his team, the rest left by their own choice or were 5th year seniors.

Anyone that is not an ISU fan will see this and think this is BS and doesn't make any sense. This was talked about for about an hour today so far on Des Moines Sports talk radio, so it is not just me.

So some pro hawkeye radio guy is ripping on ISU, and that is news? On KXNO, it happens on a daily basis. I do not see anything on espn, or cbs about this. Other than McKay was suspended.

Look I am not here to defend McKay, if he was a jerk, he deserved what he got, but you are really reading a lot into this, just like most Hawk fans are. If there is more there, it will get out.

No, it isn't pro Hawkeye at all. The one place in the State there are ISU fans is the Des Moines metro.

I find myself agreeing with your stance, for the most part. I hope you are noticing that it is basically one guy arguing with you here and not the entire Iowa fan base.

According to this board, the only pro ISU place in Iowa is Ames. I do not listen to kxno anymore, because of there pro hawk leaning, but I do know there is one radio guy, not to mention names here, but he has been fired at every sports station in Des Moines, and the guy is very anti ISU.

It was on 1700, JImmy B and TC show, Jimmy B seems to be an ISU homer but claims not to be. He was very hard on the handling of McKay. Trent is an Iowa fan but very objective. You must be talking about 1460 KXNO. That is ISU leaning as well with Keith Murphy an ISU homer and then the afternoon show the Fanatics has Chris Williams from your Cryclownfanatic as a cohost. Ames is in the Des Moines metro so Ames and this area is where I've seen ISU fans the most easily. Resided in a few spots in state and its always been Iowa fans until I got here.

No, I hadn't but thanks for telling me. I will leave here as a came here today, in peace. May both teams have continued success.

No, he used Prohm rules. all he has said is that it is a "coaches decision", not that there were team rules involved.

Prohm did use the "coaches decision" for not playing him against TCU, and it just created more questions. Prohm is the coach, he is the one that is hired and will be fired for his decisions. If he thinks, not playing McKay is best for the team, I am fine with it.

See, Prohm is now deciding who plays. Previously it was the players who decided on playing time. Unbelievable but apparently true as Prohm stated "the team is coaching itself". I guess he has decided to start doing his job.
