I don't know why, but I was laughing so hard during that entire scenario, then Ellingson hits a 3 in his face while he's holding his shoe. Frickin hilarious.

So this reminds me of a question I had during the game. What would the proper procedure be if he had blocked BE's shot with the shoe? Play on? T? What's the ruling for using an object to block the shot?

There must be some rule that you can slide 6 feet with both feet and no traveling call if you have lost a shoe.

I've been looking in the rule book, can't seem to find anything about a player using a foreign object. I'd guess it would be a Class B tech, but not sure.

BTW, I'd highly recommend having Rule 10 handy when watching a game, it's enlightening.
