Meanwhile, at Rutgers....

Nah, not a troll. Just not comfortable with allowing casual racism slide by.
how is this racism? nationalism or some crap sure.

OFGS this could easily be a description of New York or New Orleans. There are other sites that describe Senegal as safe for single travelers. Way to throw gasoline in a fire, CID.
people are too soft these days.
if someone made a comment about chicago being ghetto, I doubt many would say much.
if we were talking about latin american countries, I doubt any of this would be brought up either......

shouldn't you be busy earning more tax money to pay for all their free college?

Great job. You followed-up the first ignorant Iowa hick post with a more ignorant, racist post. And did so even after saying that one shouldn't generalize! Difficult to do, but you managed it.

God, it sickens me to know that I share a passion for the same team as bigots like you.
F u - You don’t know my life experiences; I stand by my post.

Warnings & Dangers in Senegal
overall-risk.png

OVERALL RISK : HIGH
Generally speaking, Senegal is not the safest country to visit. It has extremely high crime rates, of both violent and petty crime. You should be vigilant and take all possible precaution measures in order to minimize the risk of something wrong happening.

“Violent crime is also something Senegal is notorious for and many tourists have reported being victims of armed robbery at knifepoint.”

Just an FYI on Senegal, racist propaganda with no statistical support I am sure.

Here are the official statistics on crime comparing the two countries.

The US is significantly less safe by and large.

What you cited above is crimes commited against tourists.

Don’t generalize, assume, and make blanket statements like the mentally ill elitist treasonous lying bigot in the White House does, and stick to the facts.

That is all.

Maybe not racism. Ask yourself why crime is higher in places like Senegal or inner cities. The underlying reason in many cases: poverty. Not to generalize and be a hypocrite, but 40% of Senegal lives in poverty. People rob and use force because in many cases, it means their next meal, or it supplies some sort of income. Most don’t commit violent crimes because they think it’s fun to

So to state that somebody from Senegal, whose college is being paid for in the United States, that tried to knife a girl because she wouldn’t give him her phone, is representative of the people in Senegal is just an unfortunate generalization. If that makes me a snowflake, so be it

And perspective makes this all very funny, given this country's power class lies, cheats, steals to remain in power. And we mostly just shrug.

But let's keep punching down. That's easier. It's fücking cowardly, but it's easier.

So are you implying he was ignorant of the fact that is unacceptable behavior in this country?

Twice as more likely to catch the dead from murder in Senegal as New York City, did I see that correctly?

No I’m saying that he is in a situation where he had no reason to commit a violent action, but chose to anyways. To compare that situation to Senegal, where many people don’t have it so good and choose violence as a means of survival makes for a bad comparison. To joke about the situation in Senegal reads like making fun of the poor

How about this....I don’t give a crap where he is from but if he does this he either goes to jail or gets kicked out of the country given his/her citizenship status. We don’t need MORE of this crap....we need less. Bye bye boo boo.

Now, I can get behind this statement.
