Merrick Garland Press Release

Everyone knows that politicians play loose with the facts. It wasn't surprising when Joe Biden made the same false claim. But when the nation's attorney general, a man responsible for prosecuting crimes, joins in on the act, it should leave everyone feeling uneasy.

All would likely be alive if MAGA hadn't tried a coup.
What makes normal people, i.e. those not in the trump criminal cult, nervous, is that there are people like you who perpetuate the lies coming from the cult, and are either too obtuse or ignorant to understand reality.

Those men did not die in the line of duty. What makes people like you dangerous is that not only do you spread the lie, but you then turn around and call others who are speaking the truth, liars.

One would think you would have been happy with a guy on the court who liberals are pissed at. But I understand, you got the packed court you wanted that took away women's rights, and allow for Trump to act like a criminal while in office, legally.

Garland is inept as best, corrupt at worst,.. Took four years, but as you indicate, now even liberals despise him,... He has become that rarest of political commodities,.. Common ground.

LOL. They died because of what happened that day. To say otherwise is just fascist bullshit. I'm sorry defending the maga cult lies isn't easy work, but keep trying.

According to text messages, that appear to be from the encrypted messaging app “Signal,” between Hutchinson and Farah Griffin obtained by the Subcommittee, Cheney agreed to communicate with Hutchinson through Farah Griffin. However, it appears that Cheney knew communicating with Hutchinson while Hutchinson was represented by an attorney and a subject of the Select Committee’s investigation, without going through Hutchinson’s attorney, would be unethical. This is evident by Farah Griffin’s text to Hutchinson that Cheney’s “one concern was so long as [sic] you have counsel, she can’t really ethically talk to you without him.”?

The Subcommittee was only able to obtain a limited number of text messages from Hutchinson and Farah Griffin, but Cheney’s influence on Hutchinson is apparent from that point forward by her dramatic change in testimony and eventual claims against President Trump using second- and third-hand accounts. Specifically, Hutchinson claimed that Anthony Ornato told Hutchinson that Trump lunged toward the driver of his car after he was denied his request to go to the Capitol. This story has never been corroborated and was directly refuted by both USSS agents in the vehicle with Trump that day.

In her book, Cheney wrote that it would compromise the Select Committee’s investigation to be seen advising witnesses and suggesting new legal representation. However, Cheney failed to acknowledge in her own book that she herself provided Hutchinson with new attorneys who would represent Hutchinson pro bono (see below).

What makes you the arbiter of her moral compass?
Actually, I have decided to merely assume the mantle. ("Arbiter of Moral Compasses" ... it has a nice ring to it!) ... It is clear that in this case, no one else around here is taking up the responsibility for pointing out certain personal dynamics surrounding her actual character and skillset. I am not trying to override the excellent rebuttals based on factual information relating to the events of that day.

I am hoping that you will consider the possibility that she IS indeed completely amoral, selfish, vile, and ambitious in a flailing sort of way. She is also quite stupid ... but that is an issue for another day.

And Right-ards believe he is as pure and innocent as a newborn baby. The most victimized guy ever. No smoke, no fire..
I don't think that. I doubt anyone does. What I do believe is that they threw fake accusation after fake accusation at him and I quit believing anything they had to say about him. The fact that so many of his court cases were thrown out proves me more correct than you.

Cool conspiracy theory, bro.
Barry Loudermilk, who chairs the subcommittee that's investigating the Jan 6th committee, has screenshots of text messages between Liz Cheney and Cassidy Hutchinson with Alyssa Farah Griffin as a go between.

Hutchinson, who already had legal representation, yet still had communications with her without her attorneys knowledge urging her to fire her attorney. Liz was able to provide her with new attorneys later.

This is when Hutchinson, who had testified 3 times prior, decided to add the infamous lie that Trump choked the limo driver testimony, lying under oath is still perjury, is it not?

She's a hard core conservative with draconian views on women's health. I despise her political views as it relates to public policy and governance.

Before trump was voted out in 2020, all the republicans loved her. She was chair of the House Republican Conference, which is the third highest position in the house. A position requiring a majority vote from her house republican peers.

After she spoke out against trump and specifically his actions on January 6, 2021, republicans hated her. They've called for her to be jailed and now apparently have issues with her morals.

Crazy how they loved her just a couple of years ago.

Weird.

I believe under oath she testified to what a witness in the car told her. So no. That's not perjury. And if it was, that's on Hutchinson. And it's all well documented in Cassidy's book.

And this proves my point. You don’t believe any of it is true, like I said..

Look at us! I don't believe a word from the fake news and you believe every negative thing you hear about Trump .
Wanna bet which of us is the most ignorant?

Don't answer. It would be your ignorance talking I'm sure.
Heck, I only need to believe a small fraction of the stuff he is accused of to know he should not be POTUS. I will start with the stolen election bullshit….

Amen - couldn't agree with you more! Here's some additional relative news released just this morning. Garland said today he's going to release to the public volume 2 of the Special Counsel's final report which details their findings in Trump's attempt to overturn the 2020 election. It will include not only his role in the Capitol insurrection but also his bogus fake electors' scheme which would have disenfranchised millions of voters.

And sadly will not move the needle with his numpties and too late for everyone else….
