How does Hawkeye Report and HROT compare to other message boards?

I have always been a fan of Hawkeye Report, I visit the other site occassionally but Hawkeye report is still better. So how do we stack up to big guys like OSU, Michigan, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky? Im sure some of you visit their board right?

Of coarse Hawkeye Report has the best posters but who is a close second?

I assume you realize the severe sarcasm in this. I'm 100% behind our law enforcement. I was referring to idiot liberals who have endangered the lives of the good people like you brother, niece, and grandfather. I thank them for their unselfish service.

Sure...and I'm sure they appreciate the support. I've been to the funerals of three officers killed in the line of duty. One of them had a little girl in my class when he died. She was 12. I sat in my brother's hospital room after his face was crushed while he was chasing a suspect. He nearly died. I have a pretty good handle on the dangers they face for someone not on the job.

I'm also a lib. And I can recognize that there are bad mixed in with the majority of good cops. Might be worth remembering before lumping a whole group together.

I sat in my brother's hospital room after his face was crushed while he was chasing a suspect. He nearly died. I have a pretty good handle on the dangers they face for someone not on the job.

I'm also a lib. And I can recognize that there are bad mixed in with the majority of good cops. Might be worth remembering before lumping a whole group together.

I'm not PC. To me it's superfluous to state that some cops are bad. And all humans make decisions they would later change. I'm referring to a White House that jumps to conclusions without fact. Pathetic for a Harvard Law grad in my humble opinion. My hat is off you the police officers in your family. (And you too liberal. )

Yeah I agree with this. Not all the libs around here are like Ciggy, WWJD, Fred or jscott. Several of them can disagree with you and make their points with facts and opinions rather than douchiness or board clutter. Tarheel mstp and Joe's Place always bring something interesting to a discussion. Plus the con side has a few of their own here who make their side look bad.

I don't think anybody denies there are bad cops. Of course there are. And there are even more less-than-competent cops. But what I think he's referring to are people who work from the assumption that the cop is in the wrong when there's a controversy.

HROT is good stuff. There's a good amount of people who frequent the board. Too many people and everything gets buried, can't recognize individual posters. Too little and it's a ghost town.

The other good thing about this board is the lack of kids. Nothing ruins a message board like kids.

It's also worth mentioning that we have one of the best wrestling boards out there. Other teams' fans come here to discuss all things wrestling, not just Iowa wrestling or as it pertains to who they're playing.
