They didn't have a typical celebration in the locker room but rather Beard walked into the locker room (after Mooney attributed their success to God I might add) and they immediately all took a knee to attribute their success appropriately.

Texas Tech to Iowa would be a step backwards right now. Iowa cannot carry Tech's jock.
Well duh. But to claim that Tech’s basketball program history is on the same level as Iowa is equally stupid.
Where did I claim that Tech was historically equal to Iowa? We live in the here and know and Texas Tech followed up an Elite 8 run by making it to the title game. Meanwhile, Iowa has appeared in one Tournament and two games in the same span.
"History" is not really the correct terminology. Iowa having a better basketball program than Texas Tech is "ancient history".
We'll wait and see if they can sustain it over the long haul, I have my doubts that will happen. Prior to this run in the tournament their greatest period of success was when the disgraced former Indiana basketball coach and son took over the program, so good luck to them.
