As the Pedo State players were leaving the field Saturday night I noticed a large number of our fans in the SE corner remained in their seats.

It appeared to me from across the field that Gesicki was taunting our fans just before he went into the tunnel. Did I see that right? And was it him or another pedophile?

There was quite a reaction from our fans and I assumed they were giving it back pretty hard. I also thought I heard a player may have apologized for post game behavior.

SIAP, but just curious if anyone on HR was in the SE corner and witnessed this close up. Looked like they have it to the tool Franklin when he departed as well. Perhaps McSquirrelly apologized for something else.

Last question: I wondered if Gesicki was getting even with our fans for the stuff they heard all night from fans sitting right behind the Pedo State bench. Was anyone there with first hand info? My guess is that it got pretty bad because it appeared we were getting in their heads.

Thanks!!

I don't know anything about that. The player that punted the ball apologized and personally he didn't need to. It was a non-factor. It was an emotional game and he was letting off some steam. Our guys celebrated when they scored and I am sure would of celebrated had they won.

There were some very good PSU fans and then there some not so great fans. We had one around us who kept yelling its over when it was 15-7. Then when Iowa went up 19-15, he kept yelling we are letting you win. The guy was a moron. But 99% of the fans from PSU were good.

Stop with the Pedo BS. You are disrespecting the victims and laying the blame on people who had zero to do with it.

I agree. It was an emotional draining game for the players on both sides. If you don’t like it, beat them.

I'm sure hoping in the not too distant future we can talk about PSU without bringing up "Pedo" and "Pedophile"

Everybody is aware what happened and it has nothing to do with this coach, this team or administration.

Don't disagree. It's my classless venting for the anguish of the loss. Totally classless on my part.

I plead GUILTY!!

It was probably a section of Penn State fans responding.

They're still some away fans that sit in the lower corners even though Iowa changed the seating. It's more noticeable when Wisconsin, etc. come to town with more fans.

Perhaps, but I certainly didn't appear to be the case from my perspective and the group PSU seating was most prevalent in the NW corner.

This post, and the other 10 on the front page are the reason Penn State fans are still here. You guy's are starting to rival Pitt obsession with Franklin and PSU.

Pretty sure it was PSU fans from where I sit 20 rows down about 40 PSU fans were cheering. Also their cheerleaders set up there.

I don't like when people continue to use Pedo State and such. But on the flip side it seems many PSU fans think the program was victims with the sanctions. I'm talking the sane ones. That gets annoying.

I completely agree.... calling them pedo's is out of line and shows poor character.

Without getting into the pedo thing or any of the other issues, I didn't think the punt was any different than a basketball player throwing the ball into the air after a big/close win.

Just send me a private email and let me know how much money you want me to pay you to make this right!!!!

As seen on penn States Brennan can, the Iowa fans were yelling at the penn state players and then our players retaliated with taunting.

I'd like to see us stop using those terms as well.

That said, their fans had an extremely large role in creating the culture that led to dozens of kids getting abused. Those fans are still there. If they are going to refuse to accept any responsibility they should be kicked out of the conference. No one really cares about them anyways.

Good idea.

I unfortunantely sit close to the opposing bench which ill never do again. That was a strong majority of players either doing the shhh sign or looking right at us telling us to stand up amd cheer sort of thing. Then they were at mid field making a big show of things. They are hard to watch.

I'm sorry but I will always refer to them as pedo state. When you have this big of a corrupt infraction then the name will live forever. Program should have been shut down. Big Ten was spineless.

I watched a video of Gesecki heading into the tunnel and he shouted "How do you quiet 70,000?" I believe that is what the OP is referring to.

That’s complete bullshit. The fans didn’t create crap. Fans exist at every school and they’re not the ones who cover things up. Coaches do. Administrators. Police.
Fans want to believe their guys are the good guys. Something breaks like this and the denial runs thick.

You are so far off base it's absurd. Look into the facts of the case. Federal agent John Sneddon spent 6 months investigating the entire case in 2012 at the height of the hysteria. His conclusion was, " there was no cover up because there was nothing to cover up". The media lied to you. If you care about the truth check these links.

Your administration and head coach put football over kids because fans demand it.

Thanks. It appeared to me that he was taunting our fans. Where did you see the video?

Thanks Nit. ;)
