Miller Moss looking at Iowa?

Live look at KF.

Nope, right now KF is asking his peeps “what is this portal thing?”

I was there. Iowa was totally dominated by UCLA. That Iowa only lost by three was the result of UCLA's turnovers and penalties and a gutty performance by Jackson Stratton. Ask KJ and Higgins and Sully about UCLA. It was men against boys that night, and it was embarrassing for Iowa. That's the truth. The scoreboard can lie, and it sure did in this case.
You are crediting UCLA turnovers for it being a close game, but not giving credence for CRITICAL Iowa turnovers impacting the game?

I would respectfully disagree completely. You believe in mirages. I belive in reality. Again, ask the Iowa players what they think of the UCLA game. They were dominated and embarrassed, scoreboard be damned. IMHO, of course.

And Nebraska? Three incredible individual plays turned that fiasco from a devastating loss to one of the most improbable wins in college football history. The last 90 teams, going back to 2001, to have five or fewer first downs all lost. KJ turns a swing pass into a 75 yard TD by breaking a half dozen tackles. Llewellyn strip sacks Nebbie's QB with less than a minute to play. And then Stevens sneaks a 53-yarder inches inside the upright to win at the gun. The entire rest of the game was all Nebraska. You can't just ignore the fact that Iowa couldn't do a damn thing against a mediocre Husker squad. Iowa was inept and embarrassing. Three individual plays changed the outcome. It's that simple.
Not ignoring anything. In both of these games the Iowa offense was abysmal. They sucked, but the fact of of the matter is that Iowa beat Nebraska because the defense allowed only 10 points and special teams were special again. Shiity offense doesn't take that away.

And how about giving the Iowa defense credit for creating those UCLA turnovers? It's like some of these people just want to ignore that the Iowa defense is 10th in the country in points allowed. They only gave up 20 points vs UCLA and 10 points last week. It ain't luck.

There are a shit ton available right now, no idea what the cost will be, but wow are there WRs available right now. None of this mentions Juco or FCS guys.

1.) KC Concepcion
2.) Micah Hudson
3.) Johntay Cook
4.) Eric Rivers
That for a 1 year player should be where the funds go, WR1 is the biggest issue because no Iowa WR on the roster makes a defense move a 2nd defender outside and out of the box

Barnes is following Rivers, I would hope they don't take the entire pot for him though. Iowa needs to get pressure on passers this year as well. Adding Cole Wisniewski to bolster the secondary would be a great first move. There are going to be a ton of options available.

And my answer would be “It’s where you got glass legs, noodle arm,

Cade from”. I’m sure we should all scrape together all our pennies to pay for another superstar this offseason.

Iowa should be looking at QBs that did more with less. Not ones that did less with more.

No more cast offs from blue blood programs.
I actually think should he stay healthy, Miller Moss should be at least as productive as Nate Stanley. I know, not exactly a high bar to clear, but Iowa digging through Michigan's rummage bin is like a fourteen year old girl borrowing clothes from her mother's closet - it's retro and it's a close enough fit. Nothing wrong with that if we're talking about tight ends or a defensive player, but as far as skill players go, fuhgeddaboutit.

Michigan may have history on its side, and has better access to certain resources than Iowa does, but as a whole, it's just as unsexy as Iowa is. USC might not be what they were in the 00's, but they rarely suck on offense. I'd take a castaway skill position player from their roster any day of the week.

Michigan just fired the OC , hard to see a portal QB signing with an unknown OC unless Michigan makes a suitable hire fast that the Player is good with

Ignore the score.

MSU, UCLA and Nebraska all physically dominated Iowa. There is no getting around that fact.
Nebraska? I mean both teams were hitting hard and playing physical I’d say Nebraska seriously benefited from knowing Iowa was running on 1st and 2nd down and able to come crashing down. Then on 3rd 6 plus they knew they were throwing and could pin ears back.
