How will our wide outs do against their DB's who play a physical man coverage? Gotta admit, I am really nervous for this one. Especially after the beat down in Minneapolis last year.
Their running game blows and Leidner has actually had a lot of success throwing the last 3 or so games. They're 13th in the B1G in rushing, with like 3 OL and their top 2 RBs currently on the injury list. Stopping their running game is not high on the list of things that I'm worried about.
Why do I get the feeling that you frequently piss your pants?
You do realize they ran for 166 yards on Michigan
That's all?.....You do realize they ran for 166 yards on Michigan
You sure that he's the one that needs to relax? eh?You have brought this up in a couple other threads and now you started a thread with the exact same topic.
JFC relax - the answer is YES, Iowa can stop the jet sweep. Maybe not every time they run it but the jet sweep will not be Iowa's down fall.
A Michigan team that had a few injuries and was also still reeling from the Michigan State loss. That's all?.....

They are THIRTEEN out of FOURTEEN teams in the B1G in rush O.
They had 74 rushing at Northwestern and we had 394. They had 104 against 3-6 Kent State. They have the 112th scoring offense in the country. They SUCK.

We had 294, but still a lot more...
Like their entire starting secondary from the beginning of the year is out with injury. Murray, Boddy-Calhoun, and Jalen Myrick. All out for the year. They have multiple safeties out as well (Antonio Johnson and Charlie "Ace" Rogers, to name two).
Edit: Murray might be back, but he's missed a significant portion of the year with injury. The others are out for the season.
