Missouri vs. Iowa in Nashville

We better show up, or I'll be taking shit from all my local friends for the next 6 months, lolol.. Kind of fun watching the Tigers (and Tony Perkins) spank #1 KU today at the ZOO though...

Then again, if Iowa hadn't given the Iowa State game away, missed 19 tackles @ MSU, and failed to show up vs. UCLA, they would be in the CFP. The Hawkeyes and KF had a huge opportunity, and they--as usual--let it slip away.

Oh, well, let's use the Mizzou game to get ready for Albany . . .
Would have needed to not lose to MSU or UCLA

Mizzou had a good showing against Ohio State in their bowl game last year, but I’m pretty underwhelmed by the pick. 130 teams (not all bowl eligible) but we seem to draw the same ones at times somewhat often.
Until the Hawks get good enough to reach the playoffs, they're gonna see the same bowl destinations and opposing team matchups quite often.

Sucks because if we would've drawn Mississippi or Alabama we probably wouldn't have had any opt-outs.

Now it's gonna be a f***ing free for all......

NCAA and bowl committee doing what's worst for Iowa. BAU

Trash.

Johnson has said he’s out, which should surprise no one; Jackson and Higgins have said they are in. I’m not sure we have many other guys in the first 3-4 rounds to where an opt out would really be of benefit, maybe Lachey, Black, or Colby. I’d like to see those guys finish what they started, but if they choose not to play i don’t think it’s the end of the world.

As to your point on the selection committee, they have nothing to do with who plays in games outside the playoff.

That's a lot of "ifs and buts"

Like, do I put in PTO to watch this bowl game or just like... are we gonna get blown out, bc I'd rather just sit at work bored.

Thoughts and prayers to those of you who have to work from the 20th-1st

So, to the naysayers, who would you prefer Iowa play?
Bama?...get killed.
Ole miss? Why? Still kill us.
So. Carolina? Hot team would kill us.
So do the naysayers want to lose just so they can hammer KF all off season?
I suspect so.
Mizzou is ranked#19, border rival and an SEC team. Wtf do people want?
Better to get blown out by Bama and Ole Miss and show fans like you just how far away this program is against their backups even when they're not trying, than play a low-energy game like the 2022 Music City Bowl with opt-outs everywhere, except for Missouri because their coach is a try hard feasting on wins in these kind of games that generate hope-ium from their thirsty fanbase.

True story btw since I know people want to disagree with me.

Your first mistake is presuming that what I'm saying isn't at all factual. Time never lies, though, jt.........Time never lies. Records (wins/losses)......those lie. Not Time, though, jt.

Now, rethink your response now that you've made it this far in my post, and operate under the assumption that I am 100% correct.

You're welcome. :D

I didn't bother to see who was responsible.

Not sure what all this fear of Iowa getting blown out is about.

First of all, Iowa getting blown out is not at all a probable outcome.

And even if they do get blown out, why would it matter to fans? There are wins and there are losses.

Have no understanding at all why a blowout is even something crossing non-gambling fans' minds

No. I do not let others victimize me, and I sure as hell don’t victimize myself.
Dude, every time you post it's a post for attention. You're always negative and always on here trying to call somebody else out. You're ALWAYS whining, ironically, about others. Every post of yours is denigrating someone else and then you have the nerve to talk about victimization.

In my old field, you'd be considered bi-polar or borderline. All about you even when nothing is. Grow up.

Good thing you've gotten out of that field

You're dumb as shit. You have no understanding about anything at all. Your entire worth is simply being a bitch and an asshole simultaneously.
