MO church service

One in front there in the pic wouldn't handle Covid very well.

Fat shaming. Mask shaming. And yet viruses will continue to do whatever and go wherever they want.

Are you saying masks aren't effective?

Gatherings like that are stupid. I don't care if it's a church service, protest, or one of Trump's emotional support rallies, stupid is as stupid does.

And yes, COVID disproportionately affects fat people. That is true regardless of a bleeding heart conservative's feelings. 😝

While this, in and of itself is alarming, I'd like to know the statistics of other churches since this is one photo op out of nearly 400K American churches. My church looked more like this, this morning since the majority are still attending virtually and there are capacity limits, mask requirements and on-line reservations required for in-person attendance.

Too many people focus in on a minority situation and think it's the norm.

Our church shut down all in person services a month ago, before that they limited it to 100 people in a church that seats 650

although with so many elderly they were lucky to get 40-50 people. Masks required no singing.

You will never get this right unless you end up in the hospital with it. We understand...you don't give a crap. Do you need to tell us every single day how little you care about Americans?
No, I don’t. And if you people wouldn’t start a dozen threads every day with the same old ish then I wouldn’t have to tell you a thing.

But we all know that’s not going to happen.

And I’m guessing all those obese, maskless people in that Missouri mega-church are every bit as safe - if not more so - than those poor souls in Kalifornia.

What a shithole....but I hear the sunsets are spectacular

You're just a bad human being.

How come you spelled California with a K?

People who say things like “how come you spelled” instead of “why did you spell” really bugs me.

I know it’s a regional thing, but it really makes people sound effing stupid to most of the world.

According to the experts, it’s a sophomoric way to try and ideologically link the Golden State with the Chinese Communists.

Kinda sounds like me if I’m being honest.

🤨

But you can slide the blatant misspelling.

Ok. I’m an asshole.

Now answer the question: is there ANY possible way to make the claim that mitigation factors work in the spread of viral respiratory infections?

L.A. county has had no in-person school since March, closed businesses, ordered people to stay home, mask mandates with over 90% compliance, etc., yet they just joined the exclusive 10,000 ‘cases’/day club. Weird, huh?

It’s a seasonal phenomenon, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it: Long term care facilities nationwide have proven this.

You can fascism with your flu or you can have freedom. Not really a tough choice in my mind.

Is "why come you spelled" better or worse?

There are 20+ million people in Southern California. It's a numbers/population density game. Which makes the numbers in Iowa, SD, and ND that much more embarrassing.

Got it. Mitigation efforts don’t work in densely populated areas, but commie-fascists like Murphy, Newsom, DeBlasio, ad nauseam, use fear to run/ruin their subject’s lives in spite of the futility of their efforts.
