People just went on to gather for other stupid reasons. The only way that lock downs really work effectively are if they're almost draconian, house arrest sort of lock downs. I'm divided on whether they still should have done them or not. I'd lean towards yes, because those extremely densely populated areas like LA could have been even worse.

Just saw on MSNBC*CCP* that 33 million California residents are in lockdowns of some type, mask compliance is easily over 90% yet cases are rapidly climbing.
The answer, obviously, is to double, triple, even quadruple down on dumb.
