Wasn't there some hotter chick that did this in Dirty D a few years back?
My memory is really bad from extensive drug use. Maybe @lucas80 will remember the details?
I remember it, if we are thinking of the same thing, and it was a pretty transparent scam from the start. I don't recall the handle, my guess is it is long gone.My memory is really bad from extensive drug use. Maybe @lucas80 will remember the details?
The "-ter" is pulling a lot of weight in that sentence.Madison Russo
You talking about that dude from Georgia who was trying to get his son, named Nile Kinnick Knapp, on at Iowa, met Kakert, and conned a bunch of money from the rubes of the Lounge? There was a poster in the lounge that did that a while back.
I remember something along those lines. I figured that to be a prank at first. Nile Kinnick on a Hawkeye board… I also remember something on the OT board that was more of an openly financial scam that was laughable from the start. You talking about that dude from Georgia who was trying to get his son, named Nile Kinnick Knapp, on at Iowa, met Kakert, and conned a bunch of money from the rubes of the Lounge?
Probation, DumbShit!Five years all inclusive prison time? I effing wish.
I remember tha guy and his story. I didn't know he scammed people. You talking about that dude from Georgia who was trying to get his son, named Nile Kinnick Knapp, on at Iowa, met Kakert, and conned a bunch of money from the rubes of the Lounge?
Well, @dgordo this is going to bother me for awhile. I’m trying to remember the reason for the fundraising request. For some reason I don’t think it was a direct, “help me”, scam, was it a promise to direct the money to someone else? And, it wasn’t a completely new handle as I recall. I’m not even sure it was one of the continuous retreads. Like a few months old handle that had established a rapport with the gang here.

Sounds like most of your clients, chief! 😂😂😂😂🎅I had a client that pulled this shit. She was in prison last I knew.
Kakert would be that stupid! 😂🤡💍No but I remember that one too. I think he stole money from Kakert.

Didn’t one of them get some Hawkeye football tickets out of it. And perhaps airfare as well.No but I remember that one too. I think he stole money from Kakert.
I’m pretty sure he built up a brand around his sons sped up videos then sold a story of cancer and raising money. Maybe I’m wrong there, but there was definitely a fraudster element to itI’m pretty sure it was @TAIhawk or something like that. They posted news articles of their “fight’.
I don’t recall any money being raised (would have been a violation at the time anyways). This was just a classic case of a Dad overselling their son’s abilities. Good hype/marketing. Also, loving the attention their son wasn’t actually getting from staff
Good lord you suckShe just needed better lawyers....
