Reese is about as intelligent as a rock, so it shouldn't be too hard to fool her.

People of every persuasion lose their ever-loving bleep over Angel Reese. She’s somehow simultaneously over-loved and over-hated, over-hyped and under-rated, put on a pedestal and villianized. It’s kind of wild to see. She’s a really good basketball player.
She's OK. She's not amazing. I bet money Martin has more net value than Reese when you consider culture, off-season, and influence on others.

I guess I’m not seeing it. Overhated and underrated? There were a large swath of people who wanted to vote her ROY because she is good at rebounding only. She can’t shoot and is a stat chasing hound. The only reason people know her name on a national basis is because of her poor sportsmanship with Caitlin.
Yeah, and if she’d transferred from Maryland to play for the Hawks they’d all love her, because we’d have probably won a national title. Then she’d be our salty vet with attitude.

If she went to Iowa she'd be hated by a lot of people from the administration, to the boosters, on down to the fanbase.
As for the over-hated aspect, that’s like saying if Stanford’s band played for Iowa and didn’t do the farmer’s only thing during the rose bowl, people wouldn’t have had a problem with Stanford’s band. Now, I personally didn’t care about that and i thought it was funny (well, at least as funny as I could find something while mccaffrey went for 3,000 yards in one game), but i understand the irritation. Just like I understand being irritated by her poor sportsmanship and delusions of grandeur.
As for the underrated aspect, the fact is that she can’t shoot and the only elite skill she has in the W is rebounding. I would contend she is overrated, or at best appropriately rated, relative to other W all-star bigs.

I guess not. Maybe ending her season in China to come home and workout with the Fever was part of the deal.
She can do one thing really well and another thing pretty well but she is God-awful at a very important thing in basketball. The problem is how she feels she needs to tear everyone else down because she can't reach the same level of recognition that they have.
She is simply a 20+ year old immature person. She has loads of talent but at some point will have to grow up and act the part. If and when it sinks in she will be a great player. While taking my shots at her I still would like to see her put it all together.

I thought the Stanford band thing was hilarious. Easily the best part of the game. Any Iowa fan who was more upset about that than the shit show on the field should have turned in their fan card. I'd also venture a guess that half the fans who were expressing outrage wouldn't have uttered a peep had the score been the other way around. Bunch of man babies getting their feelings hurt.
She'd have put us over the top. Interior defense and ferocious rebounding is useful on a team that plays a lot of 3 and 4 guard sets.
Again if she'd played for the Hawks so much of the pearl clutching would never have occurred in the Iowa fan base.

Not sure what you mean. He was a mean drunk who cost himself pro money. But, we all cheered for him.
Although he could be dirty at times, he never stalked other players on the court and taunted them. Most fans were not aware of his off court behavior. At his peak, he was probably one of the most beloved players at Iowa. Maybe top 5. Remember Iowa fans packing an NIT arena and holding 3 signs? Fans dig the long ball.
How do you get to the point of being so mentally politically polarized that you defend Angel Reese? Crazy. She had numerous dirty fouls in college. Here's two pretty good examples from last season that verifies she's a shitty hateful human.
