Trump to Begin Large-Scale Deportations Tuesday (Chicago will be an early target)

Agreed. I was more trying to state the we are spoiled. I make a pretty good salary. I like my drive thru employees being staffed at coffee shops, an employee to deliver my groceries outside Target, my food being served fast at my favorite restaurant, etc. These people provide a service but can't get by without proper healthcare and other benefits to make life livable. I am happy to pay a little more in taxes for the convenience.
Rifler doesn’t understand that they’re millions of jobs subsidized by the government. That belong.to multi billion dollar corporations.
In a lot of ways they aren’t any different from agribusiness. Heck both agribusiness and Walmart, Dollar General, etc type companies are the first ones to lobby against any reductions in SNAP benefits. They’re on the same page economically with illegal labor employers.

We'd be better off if this additional cash flowed to these workers in their paychecks,.. Everyone knows how inefficient our government is..
Yes we would but these multi billion dollar corporations have figured out how to put state, local, and federal dollars in their pockets directly or indirectly. They’re not going to give that up especially when they can buy all of those votes.

Those are different dollars which are part of a different problem,.. I'm referring to way in which the welfare state is being used to directly offset low paying jobs...

We should be paying higher prices,.. Our inefficient government should not be playing middle man on this financial transaction...
But the candidate you voted for promised we will pay less. How do you rationalize that?

Dollars are fungible. Money all comes from tax payers. Those companies directly employee individuals that go on Medicaid, food stamps, and other social welfare programs as well.
I’d call it Welfare for corporations. The tax breaks, credits, and new construction are all paid by taxpayers. Wisconsin did it for Foxconn and ended up an economic negative. Even after Microsoft has stepped in.

Our government, going back at least 50 years,.. It's just another facet of the ongoing wealth redistribution scheme..
Good bye. You are intentionally being ignorant, have zero clue how real life works, or are plain stupid. I am declining to interact with all three.

Like farming?

What is your solution or the solution being offered by your republican party?

First and foremost, it must reflect the realities of immigration. Quotas need to be reset, reflecting America’s position in the world. Work visas and the like need to be reviewed and modernized.
I think everyone ought to read and understand what is written in the Statue of Liberty. Either “live it” or denounce it.
This is the biggest clap trap non answer I have heard in awhile.

You may as well have saved yourself some time and just typed in 'it needs to be better!'

Americas position? Realities of immigration?

Live it or denounce it?

I believe in immigration. Controlled, vetted, wait your turn, come with skills and no criminal record. Pretty easy.

I guess delaying the deportations by 1 day isn't horrible. Hopefully ICE is already locking down the border, and hopefully a memo has gone out to state and local LEO's they can detain illegals and ICE will take it from there.
