Moss and Brents starting

I love Moss' story, but he sure doesn't look like he has the build to be an every down player yet. I thought he'd be a FS as I believe that is what he played at Centennial.

He was a CB at Centennial, he does have great size as a corner being listed at 6-1 182 which is about the same as Hankins. I personally think he will end up at safety if the talent at Corner becomes to much to keep off the field

Speaking of Moss, you don't find many white CBs in D-1 football. In fact, the last one I can think of at Iowa was Kerry Reardon back in the 70s. He went on to have a nice NFL career with the KC Chiefs. White corners are even more rare than white RBs. Just find that interesting.

But I am confident in whoever Phil Parker puts on the field. He's been talking up Brents and Moss. Given that Minny has a freshman walk-on QB and shouldn't be able to run against our D-line, I'd say this is as good a game as any for a couple of young corners to start. I wouldn't be surprised if they not only play well but that they each get a pick.

I do remember that name, Adam Shada, but that's about it. You could be right. Still a rare thing.

Scott Plate Adam Shada and even Timmy D was back there his freshman year.

OJ has really struggled in the pass game. Just hope Moss is ready to perform as we have zero business losing to the Gophers.

Baptism by fire for these two young man. The rest of the defense will have to take it up a notch. Still think Floyd will be back in IC.

Phil Parker said on hawkcentral podcast this week it’s taking him longer to develop mentally and he’s likely going to redshirt
Yes I'm not worried yet tho, if this was his 3rd year in the system and they're saying that then I'd be worried for sure
Although look at Josh Jackson the light just suddenly came on for him

Oj has not been good. Not sure what people have been watching if they think so. Sounds like moss just jumped him. That’s exciting.

Well see what happens. Good first big test for them both. Entire D will have to step up especially the line. Hope they don't get burned or exposed too bad. A bit of a concern.
