Before his breakout year when he got in the game he looked good. Not sure about the theory that he was lacking and then became good. You'll probably be saying the light came on for Eppy when he starts and dominates next year. lol

Moss was glued to his man way more often than OJ was in games. He'll be even better now that he has game tape

I wouldn’t say awful. He’s fast though and that will make up for some is his inexperience.

I admit I did chuckle when I tuned in and saw we had a white cornerback. They are legit unicorns. Only at Iowa...almost.

I think he passes the eye test athletically though and will only get better.

Moss kept up with every WR. The issue was something that will change with experience and coaching, turning for the ball. Didn't see anything that showed he didn't belong. Looked good and made some good tackles too.

Disagree pretty strongly with you there. Moss was a step and a half behind the WR on damn near every throw. He could wind up being alright some day, but he looked completely overwhelmed today- and that is to be expected for a true freshman from Ankeny. I’m more concerned about what Moss’s PT says about guys like Turner and Creamer.

One advantage that Moss might have over those guys is that his high school system was very similar to Iowa's. Jeff Helgeson is a Norm Parker disciple.
