First two possessions of OT were not great. The announcer nailed it. Don’t play hero ball. Those were terrible shots that cost Iowa the game.
He really needs to stop shooting that step in long 2. Worst shot in basketball yet he loves it. Shoot the 3 or go to the hoop. The only time it is ok to shoot a long 2 is when the shot clock is about to go off.

Moss hit a couple huge shots and had a couple major steals. He played with effort but was just feeling himself too much in OT. No one player was responsible for this loss
He had a couple great steals too. No one is perfect. I was fine with the first shot in overtime, he was a hot hand. Second shot was extremely forced and a predictable turnover.
Yep I agree. Guy was making a play. IMO it was the cook turnover and late-shot clock 3 that were the killers
Take away a couple turnovers in early part of game that contributed to 25 pt deficit and the hero ball in OT, he had a good game. Moss and Cook had a lot to do with getting down 25 pts.
Today summed up our season in a nutshell. Bits of brilliance surrounded by unbelievable short bus decisions.

Cook did turn it over, but watching the replay his hand was all that got hit.
When he plays within the offense and doesn't force things, he's a very good player.
Cool, I'll have to go back and watch it. I think it was Williams? That guy had like half-a-dozen steals and I would be surprise if he didn't get all hand in a couple
I think he was wanting it so much he got a little carried away but if the shots went down.... always tough losing in ot. Moss also scored our first 5points on Cincinnati when everyone was tight.

This team has so many guys that look great one posession and then terrible the next.
Joe W is really the only steady player.
I think he has a higher ceiling and let's hope he can realize it next year. I think he's better at driving to the rim and finishing and should get more opportunities to do so next year.
Hope you are right, but he has really bad handles and not much feel on making shots driving to the basket.
His handles never become a factor until he starts trying to do too much with the ball (overtime).
Still don’t get why he doesn’t just dunk it. He missed a big layup off a steal in transition on a ball he easily could have jammed. Definitely has the athleticism and explosiveness but doesn’t use it enough
Just cannot agree on his handles. Go back and watch games he has trouble even dribbling the ball on the perimeter.

Moss hit that crucial 3 from the deep corner just ahead of the shot clock after Baer had saved the rebound, and Moss did many other awesome things in this game. Iowa doesn't get to OT without his play. This is not a very smart time to be knocking Moss who, overall, played one of the best games of his career.
Did he make some mistakes? Of course. And name one guy who didn't. Exactly.

Not sure why Moss and much of the team doesn't play with more energy more often. He made mistakes, but he was very active, which for him, means he had a good game.
