Screw the SEC, Screw the PacXII, Screw the ACC, tired of hearing the media rave about them and how great they are. NONE of those conferences travel out of their own regions to play. They sleep in their own beds ay night and get nice home crowds while the Big Ten and the upper half of the Big XII have to travel into their regions to play. Hate Nebraska but they're playing UCLA in Santa Clara. Iowa is playing Stanford in L.A. Michigan has to go play Florida in the state of Florida. Alabama gets a short travel to Dallas to play Michigan State. Look at the travel that Northwestern and Wisconsin have to do for their respective bowl games.
It's garbage. Until I see a southern or west coast team come play in Chicago or Detroit or Cleveland or outside in Minneapolis during the bowl season, they shouldn't ever get to call themselves a power conference.
And I'll add this, screw all the conferences besides the SEC! The only conference that steps up and challenges the SEC year in and year out during bowl season, albeit exclusively in SEC country, is the Big Ten. None of the other pansy conferences want a piece of the SEC.
But yet I'm sure with every Big Ten loss well hear about how lousy our conference was and how great everyone else is. The good news is the Big Ten was very top heavy and the top tier teams are all very good, including the Hawks, and I think they'll be carrying the flag for the conference this year in the win column.

Exactly. Which is why it was precious to hear all of the excuses about Stanford losing at NW. Cry me a river, almost every B10 Bowl Game in history has been basically an Away game.
