"I AM MAKES US ONE." What in the hell does that even mean? Whoever came up with that had to be high on pot and whoever gave the okay must have been on crack. It just makes no sense. The phrase "There's no I in team" makes way more sense.
I have been wondering what would happen if a player didn't want to wear that. We are, after all, in the age of diversity. Would it make any difference if it was a white player or a black player? Or maybe a coach. Again, we are in the age of diversity...yea right.

And I still do wonder if there are ANY players and/or coaches who disagree with all this crap but they know if they step out of line they would get smacked around by the school they attend, ESPN, CNN, CNBC, and newspapers. They would be in the least shamed into wearing the shirt. Now that's diversity of thought and being.

It’s a team thing. Basically it means “I am what we are”.
