My guess is that outside of the playoff, bowls will turn into developmental showcases where fans get a preview of next season’s team. It is kind of sad, but bowl season has become so watered down anyway that it doesn’t seem to matter much

The last game against Nebraska had no bearing on anything either, but it was still fun watching them piss down their legs again and find a new way to lose a game they should have won; was it not?

Sure I agree. I just think going forward the bowls outside of the playoff are going to essentially be exhibition. Already they feel less important than regular season games

Not sure why anyone would think Nebraska should have beaten Iowa. Much more Iowa finding a way to win rather than Nebraska finding a way to lose

three good things happened:
Nebraska got the bad boy mowers pinstripe bowl...........I hope it snows and is really cold in NYC, alabama didn't get into the playoffs, and iowa state got the pop tarts bowl...........what a stupid name. Of course we got the transgender perfect music city bowl so that's not any better.
