I remember when Izzo was asked about Lick’s firing. He thought he shouldn’t have lost his job. Maybe Michigan St. kicking Iowa butt every time they played had something to do with that.
It's amazing how people miss sarcasm. Everyone wanted Fran fired because of losing to #13 OSU. Michigan State got throttled by them and was rested. Sorry I had to explain it to you. Maybe I'll add (remember this is sarcasm for the slower posters).

Good Lord. I've been accused of being a homer, apologizer, and damn near everything else on here when it comes to Iowa basketball and football, so congrats to you for being the first I guess, or maybe you just suck at reading comprehension if you actually read most of my posts.
Just for the record though, being an ardent supporter doesn't mean you need to be freaking blind to the obvious areas that need improvement, both for players and coaching......

Incorrect. Izzo coaches at Mich St, while Fran coaches at Iowa.
If the roles were reversed, we would be saying Izzo can't recruit like Fran. At some point we Iowa fans need to realize the huge disadvantage Iowa has on the recruiting front. The vast majority of recruits have no idea where the state of Iowa is (same can be said of adults on either coast).
Never have understood how Izzo is treated with kid gloves when you consider how many of his former players have gotten in trouble with the law. A molder of men indeed!
