My advise, if your listening, is too not put to much stock into OP's advise.
You get trained in British English, bruv? What's your first/native language?

and you'd think shared experience would lend itself to some organic empathy, instead we're seeing the just-world fallacy and down right joy in other's misery. And what makes it even more disgusting is many of those same people are touting Christian principles.Yep. Anyone with a brain and even the tiniest bit of heart (even I kinda felt bad letting people go…for a few seconds) can see it. It’s being done in a careless and care-less way and the chickens will come to roost at some point. But we’ve got our mouthbreathers out in force jealously cheering on their team under the guise of a “I lost my job once, what makes you special?!” mantra. It’s small, petty, ill conceived and completely incongruent with the bigger picture objectives. Basically, exactly what you’d expect from a band of idiots. So in that sense, it makes perfect sense.
I’m an absolutely positive these cuts will get rid of quite a few deadbeats. I’m also absolutely positive that these cuts will get rid of committed public employees who were providing real value.Yep. That "mid sized" business, is the largest employer in the nation fwiw.I’m an absolutely positive these cuts will get rid of quite a few deadbeats. I’m also absolutely positive that these cuts will get rid of committed public employees who were providing real value.
The problem is, they’re not taking the time to find out. They have no idea.
If you took over a mid-sized business I doubt you’d take the chainsaw approach.

That’s exactly the point. That "mid sized" business, is the largest employer in the nation fwiw.
What an odd attempt at a flex.Over the years I’ve probably laid off more people than exist in the nearest small BFIoway town near you. It’s a fact of life / work and I don’t have any problem with it happening in the federal government. How they’re going about it though is reckless, ill conceived, trashy, and petty. So…yeah, exactly what you’d expect from the band of idiots that was voted in by a band of idiots.
So maybe where pruning shears are needed for that "mid size business" as is common in every business transition, this growth needed the proverbial chain saw. That’s exactly the point.
If you notice, he went from "I've fired a small towns worth of people, you gotta do what you gotta do" to "they are heartless"What an odd attempt at a flex.
Interestingly enough, his libtard friends get all pissy when Trump lays people off and say he’s the one that’s the issue.
Not that we didn’t already know this, but I’m guessing you have to lay people off because they can’t stand working with you in the first place.
Looks like you've got the carrot (me) and stick here with ghee being your stick. ...or schtick depending on how you look at him. LOL![]()
Well said. I appreciate someone as enlightened as me on HORT.
I'm sure there were good people who got let go here also:I’m an absolutely positive these cuts will get rid of quite a few deadbeats. I’m also absolutely positive that these cuts will get rid of committed public employees who were providing real value.

Eh, he’s whatever. Can’t say I’ve really put much into anything he says. Like you just pointed out, he’s a flip flopper and doesn’t know what to say half the time.If you notice, he went from "I've fired a small towns worth of people, you gotta do what you gotta do" to "they are heartless"

You’re making my point. So maybe where pruning shears are needed for that "mid size business" as is common in every business transition, this growth needed the proverbial chain saw.
Will he only cut people or will he cut DoD spending?Ask and you shall receive.
I don't see it that way either. I agree there will be waste with this but drastic measures were needed and nothing was going to actually happen if we maintained status quo on going through the bureaucracy. You’re making my point.
Some are apparently ok with the chainsaw, consequences be damned. All federal employees are slackers or up to no good. Any cut to the federal government is good.
I don’t see it that way.
They released the unedited interview a month or so back. Look it up, you’ll feel foolish afterwards.isn't or wasn't 60 minutes/CBS news being sued for airing an edited interview with Kamala Harris where she gave such terrible answers to the questions they cut up and created new answers from other questions they asked?
But your concern is their report?
Exactly. And that is the crux of situation. It's not the what, it's the how and the how is being performed badly and it's a YUGE deal.
IMO, they’re clearly doing it this way because it lets them 1) sell the narrative of how quickly they mowing down govt waste and 2) it further adds to the narrative that government waste/corruption is rampant.Yep. Anyone with a brain and even the tiniest bit of heart (even I kinda felt bad letting people go…for a few seconds) can see it. There’s at least a dozen different ways they could have done this better. All of which include having qualified individuals conduct the audit.I don't see it that way either. I agree there will be waste with this but drastic measures were needed and nothing was going to actually happen if we maintained status quo on going through the bureaucracy.
I am not sure there's anyone Trump could have tasked that would have been accepted. I've asked who would be an acceptable person to do it, and all I get are laugh emojisThere’s at least a dozen different ways they could have done this better. All of which include having qualified individuals conduct the audit.
And arleast 2 dozen ways every one of them would have been held up by red tape and nothing would have been accomplished. There’s at least a dozen different ways they could have done this better. All of which include having qualified individuals conduct the audit.

Plus, now that I’ve commented on a post of his, he’ll make some religion bashing post because that’s what he does. Yet he wants us to care for government employees even though he doesn’t care about anyone that’s been laid off in the past.
You’ve got my attention…now awaiting all the details. This is putting our national security at risk. I’ll be surprised if Musk makes it past March.

And nobody was willing to do any of them. There’s at least a dozen different ways they could have done this better. All of which include having qualified individuals conduct the audit.
You’re a big deal! A hero!I laid people off to maximize shareholder value. In your position, you'd never understand how it all works.
Other than @Easthawk1062 , don’t we all??If you notice, he went from "I've fired a small towns worth of people, you gotta do what you gotta do" to "they are heartless"
