How about condolences to Browns’ fans. How could you continue to support that franchise year after year.
Maybe the $30 mil will cheer him up.
Had the Browns picked Barkley, they still probably could have gotten Mayfield at #4.

I would not have taken Mayfirld until the 4th round. He’s not any good. The browns had 2 of the 4 top picks and ended up with Mayfiekd & Ward! Wow...
Passing on Barkley was a grave mistake especially if Mayfield was their guy.
It's very hard. Last time I found myself caring about the NFL was back in the early 90s. The Browns have been about as dumb has the Raiders were when it comes to personnel decisions and utilization of their talent. At least it's fun to cheer for Kirksey.
Not to mention there is a huge crossover between Browns and Buckeye fans and most of the latter probably resent him for whipping tOSUs ass and planting his flag on the the 50. Won’t have to worry about planting too many flags with Cleveland.
He will probably do it to celebrate the win to go 1-15 next year.

Whatever, Barkley is way over-hyped. I wouldn't pay him #1 money, but I would have drafted another player and got Mayfield later.
