I expected better than merely a good book being your favorite book. Again, if you read little then good may be your current best.

My favorite book is The Satanic Bible.

I tried to read Ulysses but couldn't enjoy it. It went the way of recommended classics like Moby Dick, Atlas Shrugged, Anna Karenina, etc. Back in the day my sixth grade teacher said that if you are fifty pages into a book and not enjoying it, get rid of it. There are too many other books out there that you will like. I follow that advice to this day. Thanks Mr. Slabaugh and (probably) RIP.

It's hard to pick a favorite book. Michael Shaara's "The Killer Angels" is certainly right up there. I tell skeptical friends that The Count of Monte Cristo is the best revenge story I've ever read.
