Obviously we've never been to the conference title game, but I have never been to a bowl game either. This was by far the most intense, tense atmosphere I've been in. The atmosphere is absolutely addictive and I will definitely return to Indy when Iowa returns there. I wish I could make a Rose Bowl trip work, but it's not in the cards for me with work and money.

Glad you had a good time! I did not make it over to Indy but kicking myself a bit that I didn't make the trek over. I won't be taking in the Rose ... As much as I want to, the prices are just much more than I thought they would be ... It's been a fun ride and from what I understand, Hawk fans took over downtown Indy ...

Also passing on the Rose, but did make it to Indy and despite the outcome it was a BLAST. Was so cool to see black and gold dominating the stadium. I can only imagine how the lid would have almost come off of Lucas Oil if we'd pulled off the goal line stand at the end. . . and how Indy might have come crumbling down if victorious Hawk fans had been turned loose on that town after a dramatic win! Well, next time. . . .

Please make sure in the days leading up to the Rose Bowl that you start a random thread that you are worried about the game or that Stanford had a great week of practice. The CCG was the first time in recent history that I do not recall you starting such a thread. Thus, I place the loss 100% on your shoulders. I'll be stalking this board from Pasadena for you pessimistic outlook.

Hak fans did overtake Indy. The Tilted Kilt Friday night was 95% Iowa fans and was packed. We got there at 830/and waited till 10 for a table. Everywhere there was hawk fans. The game was more hawk fans as well. Easily the best game I have seen, despite the ending. Let's make it an annual trip!

If you don't think there will be a fever pitch in Pasadena for Iowa to win its first Rose Bowl championship since 1959, then you don't know Iowa.

Does that tilted kilt's food suck like the one I ate at once did?

Our fans were impressive. We had a great time. I'm very glad I went and I would compliment the City of Indianapolis and the staff of Lucas Oil Stadium.

Iowa was 12-0 in a national quarterfinal game. The Rose Bowl, while cool, will pale in comparison to the intensity at Lucas Oil Saturday night.
Disagree. They're both great venues. I loved going to the Rose Bowl in 2013. Hawk fans should have a great time in Passdena.
