Josh Ogundele. You get thrown into the fire against some 7'4" giant and do what you do? You get my game ball. He was very confident and effective.

Good job Fran playing your entire roster minus Ash (who probably would have made a 3 in the 1st half).

Great for his confidence. That one dribble drive/move for the bucket was great!

Great move by Fran - dust off a couple of deep bench guys in O and Mulvey to combat the bigs. Fresh legs against the big guy for Purdue. Didn't see that coming.

Gunna need Ogundele

5 minutes in it was obvious to me…(but you probably knew that…)

I thought Rebraca started fine offensively, but he was gassed and out sized. Rebraca took a ton of body blows from their two bigs. He’s got to be sore.

Huge credit to Ogundele and Mulvey for fulfilling their roles (AND MORE) and being ready when needed/called.

I like Rebraca’s game, but he has a limitation on defense vs good bigs, and plays a lot like Greg Brunner or Connor (when playing deep in paint) they can’t play defense in the air around the rim.

Ogundele has limitations for sure, but has elite size, and that alone allows him to keep Bigs away from point blank range that Rebraca or Conner end up being near helpless there (although Connor will give a foul )

Josth Just holding his position was position was huge upgrade over Rebracca vs Eddy.

Rebraca did make a nice play intercepting lob the post late in game, but he just isn't tall enough/athletic enough to defend post vs bigger, better offensive bigs.

Rebracca is pretty good on help defense and the offense runs better with him out there, but I think Fran could have done more JoshO vs Cockburn and Purdue before this game.

This game, He really almost had no choice because Kris and Rebraca were picking up fouls. I think Mulvey might not have played but JoshO took tht 15 ft jumper and airballed it

Mulvey comes in, does okay, then launches a 3.......back to JoshO, but at least Mulvey got a chance to contribute.

The Big O experience provided a great rotation… but holy cow, that bench was nails when they needed to be.

Joe with 4 steals in 10 minutes. Surprised he didn’t get more time.

He was great vs eddy. Williams kinda had his way. He’s gotta shed weight/get more fit. But he showed the potential. I agree his play was monstrous.

I love what Josh brought and am excited for his future. Our fans seem to really like him too, just keep working hard and developing young man

Joe was great, disrupting Purdue offense on a regular basis. He’ll be needed throughout the tournament. Don’t think Hawkeyes go to smaller rotation for the tournament.. I think they are best when getting many contributions
