this game blows...because of the way we lost.
Arm Chair observations;
1) Considering we had a healthy lead at times in the 2nd half...I thought Fran made a mistake not playing the bench more....we were gassed ISU was also gassed...time to run them more...with fresh legs.
2) But that didn't lose the game in itself...up 6 with the ball with a little over a minute to go...and we do what we did? wont go thru the play by play in the last minute ...we did everything you do to lose by 1. We couldn't have script for ISU better.
...once again we leave a TO on the board ... one we could have used instead of just handing the ball over on a 5 sec call..
I feel sorry for Uthoff...he is one terrific player.
I thought Jok hit key shots in the 2nd half to keep ISU at bay.
I thought Baer did well.
any player any team that plays with their hearts in their throat ... will lose these...and there was no reason we had substantial leads...we score zero in the last 2:35 minutes...thats' baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.
