Homemade. Last night Ms. Ghost made her famous chicken breast French bread pizza. Grilled marinated chicken breast, spinach, red onion, green and jalapeno peppers, moz and for a sauce.. homemade Thousand Island. Incredible.

I like Nancy’s.

The best Deep Dish pizza I found in Chicago so far is Louisa's Pizza & Pasta. I liked it alot better than the usual suspects Lou Malnati's, Giodardno's, Uno's etc....

I haven't spent enough time in Chicago to talk knowledgeably about the thin crust and other styles. I definitely prefer the Milwaukee style pizza I got in Wisconsin better than the deep dish but I don't truly hate deep dish, I like it well enough to have on occasion.

So far amongst my travels I've found a huge number of pizza styles I love (Trenton NJ tomato pie, NYC style, Connecticut Apizza, Neopolitan, Detroit Deep Dish, California thin crust, Tarpon Springs Florida Greek style, Amish-area Pennsylvania pretzel crust, Georgia yeasty thick crust, Milwaukee Thin Crust, and Philiadelphia tomato pie in that order) and most I like.

But there are two styles I find absolutely disgusting: 1) St Louis style with the gross provel cheese and 2) Old Forge PA style with its sickeningly sweet tomato sauce that tastes like Heinze ketchup you dumped a bunch of sugar in and a little bit of wine and caramelized sugar. I have not had Quad City style pizza unless Casey's counts (and I'd give Casey's a C or C-, it definitely neither lives up to the hype on here nor the intense disgust it also gets on here, it was very mediocre).

In my college days at UNI ('88-'92), it would have went like this.

Rocky Rococo's
The Other Place
Paul Revere's
Godfathers
Pizza House (The Stein)
Domino's

@McLovin32 , edit above. I forgot one.

Pagliai's, Sam's, or Wig & Pen, you cannot go wrong with any one of those in IC.
Paul Revere's pizza holds a special place in my heart. Very good for working your way through a good night of smoking, drinking, and watching Star Trek.

Happy Joe's Pizza is still one of the best
places in Iowa. Their sausage, pepperoni
toppings are first class. Delicious treat
for pizza lovers..
