That was a really crappy team we just played.
….and we beat them, badly.
We are up against Giants @ Eagles on Monday Night Football. No one else was willing to televise college basketball.
No one is watching that shit show.
Obviously good publicity helps but if Luka could get on that superstar level.... that could sway the bubble too if we need it

Bad teams can have the occasional goodnight. There is a reason they were picked to be in the bottom 2 or 3 in the conference, they might win 12
That said game wasn't close Iowa did what they should have and played well
This means really nothing but I agree with Rothstein's tweet that I posted initially, we just LOOk like a tourney team, sure our D can be HORRENDOUS at times, but this team is so nasty on O, pick your poison...It looks more like an NCAA team then some of our recent teams under Fran IMO, we are 10 games in and I need to pump the brakes. Just some things to really like here. Lets see what happens Thursday....Split ISU/Cincy and we in decent shape....

Agreed, it was better. You have to like the way JoeW/Cmac/Fredrick defended tonight. But, that shooting night, for that three, was as bad as it can get.
I stand by my post before the season started. We have had our struggles so far due to figuring out the pieces and how to put them together and we will still probably drop some games we shouldn’t... But this team has plenty of room to improve. Fran’s best teams here at Iowa plateaued early and didnt have much room to improve. This team is nowhere near it’s ceiling, with or without bohannon, and will end up being better than last years team. Team chemistry and discipline is much better this year. Never underestimate a team filled with smart, tough competitors.
The top of the Big 10 is so stacked this year, it might have 9 bids. To have OSU / Maryland / Michigan at #3, 4 and 5 is crazy. MSU, the preseason #1, is also top 20. Then you have Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa, a salty PSU, Indiana, and a much improved Illinois.
He did say Iowa Stare in the clip they played in post game.
I heard 'Richard' say that also. Hopefully that Hawkeyes can drub 'Richard's' team again up there. Go Hawks

OK. And it was an 8-point game with five minutes left way back when Iowa played @ #5 Michigan . . . a few days ago.
We’ll get a chance to remind him about no we are when we play Mankato Normal February 16th.
JK, this wasn’t a big deal. Coaches aren’t always at their best during a post game interview after a road loss. I’m willing to cut the guy some slack and remind myself that he is not responsible for the scumbag things his father does.
