one of the greatest all time Hawkeyes... gonna miss him this season
Maybe, but with all the crazy stuff going on around the world right now, I'm not sure I'd be playing ball overseas right now.....I like it. If I was him I'd be in Europe getting unique life experiences but he probably enjoys the celebrity

Seriously. Lol right back at you. There are ALOT of countries these euro teams play in that I wouldn't set foot in right now. You think what you want......You don't get out much do you? Lol
Agreed. Any career record of his needs a bolded asterisk next to it. Having greater than 5 complete seasons worth of games skews those massively. Especially comparing to the old days when freshmen were ineligible, like Don Nelson’s career.Don't get me wrong I like so JBo but the dude had a extra year to do it in.

I have no doubt, which is another reason I'd be damn careful where I traveled, and especially moved for an extended period of time. I don't think we're extremely well thought of right now. We have the threat of nukes on two fronts, and are doing our best to push China into standing opposed to us while Putin intensifies his rhetoric. This is a very dangerous time.TBH they think the same thing about the USA.
Everyday , everywhere is a gamble, don’t think it isn’t when school kids are getting killed or concert goers get gunned down. You can live or you can live in fear. I can do both pretty freely thanks. If you really think that American citizens are as safe in countless cities abroad as in the US your delusional. Our national news also highlights the atrocities here every night, so were aware, but do you really think we get the same picture daily of how were perceived elsewhere?Everyday , everywhere is a gamble, don’t think it isn’t when school kids are getting killed or concert goers get gunned down. Could we see a Luka/JBo reunion in Des Moines?
The story:
probably all the trumpys and kimsI guess then I’m delusional but I have lived in many places around the world where you’d consider to be quite dangerous and feel no more fear than I would in small town America. This is a basketball board so I’ll stop this discussion now.
They've been going early to the League 😉Interesting that we have no one on the team moving up on the scoring chart. Normally we do.
And I still cheer for our former players. Jordan helped us win a bunch of games. I hope he does well in the G League.

Those things are statistical anomalies, about like getting struck by lightning.Everyday , everywhere is a gamble, don’t think it isn’t when school kids are getting killed or concert goers get gunned down. You can live or you can live in fear. The choice is yours
Crime happens everywhere….all the time. Those things are statistical anomalies, about like getting struck by lightning.
Where you have an actual chance of being involved in a crime are larger blue cities.
Thats not a true statement.Crime happens everywhere….all the time.
I work supporting victims of violent crime….mostly in RURAL Iowa. I see it every day. If you’re talking about gang violence, that’s “primarily urban” but serious violent crimes including homicide happen everywhere. Those are facts.Thats not a true statement.
In reality violent crime rates vary drastically by location.
In locations where they don't enforce the rate of occurrence goes up.
But not "all the time"I work supporting victims of violent crime….mostly in RURAL Iowa. I see it every day. If you’re talking about gang violence, that’s “primarily urban” but serious violent crimes including homicide happen everywhere. Those are facts.
Well maybe you and I are only different based on semantics.....but there are homicide trials, domestic violence cases, sexual assault cases, robbery and much more going on right now in rural Iowa. EVERY DAY there are violent crimes being committed......in all parts of our state and country. This isn't "just" a big city problem. But not "all the time"
If you really think that American citizens are as safe in countless cities abroad as in the US your delusional.

Really? Care to travel to Russia or anywhere near there right now, or China for that matter. There are teams over there as well. Ask Brittney Griner if its safer playing over seas right now. There are other countries whose laws are just as strict as russia by the way, and they have no problem jailing Americans either.....You are much safer in other places than America, especially when it comes to violence. That's not debatable.
You do realize that there are other countries in the world that have basketball leagues, right? Russia and China would be 2 places to avoid, but Europe, Australia, most of South America have leagues and would be statiscally WAY safer than USA.Really? Care to travel to Russia or anywhere near there right now, or China for that matter. There are teams over there as well. Ask Brittney Griner if its safer playing over seas right now. There are other countries whose laws are just as strict as russia by the way, and they have no problem jailing Americans either.....
