You are much safer in other places than America, especially when it comes to violence. That's not debatable.
Care to guess the major reason for this??

Really? Care to travel to Russia or anywhere near there right now, or China for that matter. There are teams over there as well. Ask Brittney Griner if its safer playing over seas right now. There are other countries whose laws are just as strict as russia by the way, and they have no problem jailing Americans either.....
China has much, much, much lower rates of violent crime.
Russia is higher. Brittney Griner broke the law in a foreign country, she is not the victim of violence. It's utterly ridiculous what's happening to her but that's not an example of anything.
Either way, glad for JBo.
I'm aware she broke the law, duh. My point is there are quite a few countries overseas's (Russia being just one), where they have much stiffer penalties then here. She would have got probation in the states, in Russia she got what, 9 years?China has much, much, much lower rates of violent crime.

I disagree with Griner's politics, but in no way find it funny that she's in a Russian prison and being used by leverage by the Russians. Yes, Americans in general should be thankful/grateful for the freedoms we do have here that others in the world don't. But it doesn't mean I wish they suffer harsh penalties in other countries.I think is funny as hell she's in the pen over there, she should be happy too, she doesn't have to put up with this bad bad America anymore. But she wants to come back in the worst way, lmao
And he might have just fouled out with 4:14 left. Moving screen but he looked set
Probation, pfft it would not have been reported.I'm aware she broke the law, duh. My point is there are quite a few countries overseas's (Russia being just one), where they have much stiffer penalties then here. She would have got probation in the states, in Russia she got what, 9 years?
Who was Luka going up against?Luka sits with 30, Jordan in, 1:24 left
Who was Luka going up against?
Mainly Orlando Robinson
I hope Luka can find a place somewhere in the NBA. He looks like he is in the best shape of his life, and that's saying something.
He's got to be good enough just for his offense to get the 12th spot on a team. Crazy he hasn't stuck anywhere. I wonder if he'll able to get over the hump
i travel europe routinely and never have had a problem or a fear. you need to get out more.I have no doubt, which is another reason I'd be damn careful where I traveled, and especially moved for an extended period of time. I don't think we're extremely well thought of right now. We have the threat of nukes on two fronts, and are doing our best to push China into standing opposed to us while Putin intensifies his rhetoric. This is a very dangerous time.
What makes you think he was talking about Europe. That would be the last place I would be thinking of in the context of the statement. Europe is generally a whole lot more safe than any major American city.i travel europe routinely and never have had a problem or a fear. you need to get out more.
Guess she was stupid to break their law then right? She think she is above all that? Guess not. They can keep herI'm aware she broke the law, duh.
