And though the game didn't end well, Logic got a 10th board and her sixth triple double! What a way for that great senior to go out in her last game! Just wish it could have been with a win!

It's rough to root for Baylor. That's why I root against a UConn-Baylor title game because then there are no winners.
Part of me would love to see Maryland go to the title game, so that the ESPN announcers then would be challenged to mention that their coach Brenda Frese has Iowa roots, or if they'll just focus on the east coast Maryland stuff, even though some would assert that they might be advised to do this to make up for slighting Sam Logic tonight in the way they didn't talk about her triple double.
Iowa played an okay game. I loved watching them during the year, but the one glaring issue was their defense. They could not guard wet paint, they struggled on the defensive end.
Their offense was fun to watch and they have some great shooters and I loved their movement away from the ball. Their defense needed a lot of work.
Tonight Baylor got hot and their BIG GIRL was on fire. She only averages 5pts and went for 25? That's crazy.

Well it's easy to have a career game when you have a team incapable of defending a big post player. Notice I didn't say how talented that post player had to be.
Iowa's hopes each game were to just outscore the other team's post or posts because that's where they'd get dominated. still need a more physical post presence. Dolittle was great, but she always wound up in foul trouble and just wasn't the quite as physical as she needed to be.
