Just remembering how Womens basketball is not in fact that good v

It was a tough call but it was the right call. You can’t extend your elbow like that on a screen.
It was a good call. She was sticking her hip and chicken wing out because she did not get over fast enough. People can say you can’t call that in that situation but I would argue you refs can’t let a team set an illegal screen to get the wide open game winning shot.
It's never easy against UConn, and Iowa looked VERY tight throughout. It was like the time it took with ruling on the 2 vs 3 Marshall FG gave them life, and Iowa blinked.

Honestly, if GM is 5'7" or 5'8" she doesn't bounce off the block like that and the call doesn't get made.
Iowa has kind of an off night in a final four game and still wins. Unbelievable. Go Hawks! I never thought they would get back to the championship game again. Wow.

I agree, but games have a consistency or flow of calls and the refs were letting them play all night. Then the refs tightened up on a few calls in the last minutes which why I think it was a tough call, not if she did get an elbow or hip out a little

It’s funnier just watching everyone defending the call when no one has said anything.
I no longer have any uneasy feelings about that call and the outrage that was gonna follow.
I can sleep well tonight knowing that it was the right call, and anyone crying about it is merely just wanting it not called so that they could've had the chance to see Iowa lose.

Completely. Sure there are some great players. But On the whole: shooting is crap; despite huge amounts of defensive space given. Just a markedly inferior product.
And I don’t say that lightly. I think there are certain womens sports that are more enjoyable to watch (soccer, hockey) as you can see the skill and systems so much better.
Not hoops.
