Here’s my shot at 133 seeding, using the top 12 from WIN rankings. Just like 184, it is tough to seed without a complete understanding of how they apply the criteria. I assume new RPI and coaches rankings will be done with conf tourney results included, so the rankings could change and impact our seeding guesses. All of the top 12 at 133 should now have enough matches to qualify for RPI. I have Forys down at #8, as the only seeding criteria he has against the higher ranked wrestlers is his win % and his tourney placement. He probably loses seeding criteria based on lack of quality wins, RPI, and Coaches Ranking. I think Montoya may edge out Clark in the 4/5 slot as Montoya has head-to-head, more quality wins, and a slightly higher win %. Clark can beat anyone so his seed probably doesn’t matter that much to him, but it matters to the others. I’m sure Tomasello would prefer Clark on the other side. I’d love to the see the seeding committee somehow put Forys in the #3 slot since he only has one loss, which could drop Clark to the #6 slot. That would be sweet.
